The best time to visit Ranthambore is from October to June. For tiger sightings, the dry months of April to June offer the best chances as animals gather around water sources. Book at least 90 days in advance for better availability.
Gypsy is a 6-seater open-top jeep offering a more personalized and intimate wildlife experience, ideal for photography enthusiasts. Canter is a 20-seater open-top bus, more budget-friendly and suitable for larger groups or families.
Cancellations made 15+ days before the safari date receive an 80% refund. Cancellations 7-14 days before receive 50% refund. No refunds for cancellations within 7 days. In case of safari cancellation due to weather, a full refund or date change is offered.
Zone allocation is done by the forest department through a lottery system. While you can request a preferred zone, final allocation is subject to availability. Zones 1-5 are inside the core area with higher tiger sighting chances.
All guests must carry original government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, Passport, Driving License, or Voter ID). Foreign nationals must carry their passport. The name on the booking must match the ID exactly.
Ranthambore has one of the highest tiger densities in India. Tiger sighting probability is around 40-50% in peak season. However, wildlife sightings are never guaranteed as animals roam freely in their natural habitat.
